Our Services

Elder Care services have been created after carrying out extensive discussions with Indians abroad and their elderly parents. NRIs often worry about the well-being of their Elders, these could be their parents, in-laws or uncles and aunts. They wish that their Elders would visit them more often and stay for longer durations of time.

Elders are happy to visit but they do prefer living their independent lives in cities across India. They have their own social circles, and active lives back home in the dream home they have built for themselves over the years. Additionally, visa regulations limit the duration for which an Elder can stay in a foreign land.

Elder Care’s technology based solution keeps both sides happy. Elder Care supports Elders by providing independent living assistance by helping them with household chores, doctor visits, visits to market, groceries and so on.

Please visit the Independent Living Assistance page for more details.

Elder Care also tracks your Elders well-being by taking routine readings during their weekly visits to your Elder’s home. Trained nursing assistants, with years of experience, most of them from the Indian armed forces visit your Elder once a week. Medical readings are recorded for you to access in your country of residence.

For all of you living at least five to six hours of flying time away from your Elders location, you constantly worry about the occurrence of a medical emergency. Elder Care provides a Medical Emergency Response service.

Please visit the Medical Emergency Support page for more details.

Access to medical records when your parents visit you for long durations is a struggle. They may or may not travel with their pathology,or radiology reports. What happens in an instance when they have to show the records in case of a requirement when they are with you in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia or anywhere else in the world.

Elder Care digitises all records for easy access. These can be accessed during their visit to their children’s country of residence, so that you are always updated to keep them updated on your Elder’s medical well being, and these can also be used at the time of a medical emergency anywhere in the world.

Please visit the Medical Record Access page for more details.

Elder Care services during Covid19

Elderly are most vulnerable to Covid19. During this time, the Elder Care team will stay in touch with your Elders via phone.

Ensuring zero physical contact and exposure. Provide assistance by giving the necessary help in terms of grocery deliveries and other chores they might need help for.

Most importantly we will be here in case of a medical emergency.

Medical Emergency Support

Medical emergencies can spring up anytime and anywhere. Whatever time and wherever they arise, our Elder Care Officers or ECOs will reach your Parent/Elder in the shortest possible time and ensure that your Parent/Elder reaches the best* medical care.

You may be 24 hours or more away, with no access to a relative or friend. Elder Care will be there* to be at your Elder/Parent's side until the time the registered local guardian or you arrive at the hospital.

Every step of the way every move of the ECO is time-stamped and thus automatically monitoring the time the ECO reached the Elder, the time they reach a hospital and the time the Elder is admitted to the hospital.

*ECOs will stay until a local guardian or the next of kin arrive. Instances where the time exceeds 2 hours. Additional attendant-time charges will apply on 3 hourly basis.

You, living abroad and in transit, will be informed of the care being given every step of the way.

Independent Living Assistance

Team Elder Care will call your parents regularly, as per their convenience, to check on their well being. Pre-prepared questions that cover common medical and independent living matters will be asked. If they require handling, will be attended to immediately.

Our trained Elder Care Officers (ECOs) who undergo constant training and most are ex-army personnel will visit them once a week.

On the day of their visit, they will assist in whatever help is required by the Elder.

This could include chaperoning them for a medical check-up, handling errands and so on. Thereafter Elder Care International will be responsible for sourcing the report, updating your Elders' record in our systems and informing you about the report.

During their visits to your home, ECOs will also capture basic health-related readings like Blood Pressure, Heart rate, and body temperature. These will be updated in their records to which you will have full access.
